Operable by a single person, the open pocket packing scale can accommodate various materials, though bagging requires additional seams. While offering slightly lower bag rigidity, this method allows bag recycling, albeit at a slightly reduced packaging speed. An additional operator is necessary for open pocket packing machines compared to their valve pocket counterparts.
