The Hydro-Probe is a state-of-the-art moisture sensor designed for use in processing plants that handle materials such as sand, cement, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates. It utilizes digital microwave moisture measurement technology, making it the first of its kind. With its integral signal processing, the Hydro-Probe provides a linear output, both digital and analog, and can easily be connected to any control system.
Positioned in the flow of material within bins, chutes, or on conveyor and feed belts, the Hydro-Probe takes measurements 25 times per second as the material passes over or around its sensor face. This allows for rapid detection of changes in moisture levels. Real-time adjustments to the moisture content of the material can then be made during processing, ensuring consistent, high-quality product output and reducing costs by minimizing waste.
The Hydro-Probe XT is recommended for organic materials.
Installation of the sensor is flexible and can be done in various locations where there is a flow of material. Additional accessories, such as extension mounting sleeves and clamp rings, are available to assist with fitting.
